The Latham Lassies Softball League is a volunteer run, 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to providing an enjoyable, instructional, and rewarding opportunity for young girls of every skill level, to participate in the sport of softball. Latham Lassies offers spring recreational softball, summer and fall travel softball, clinics, tournaments, and other related events.

Any girl age 5-16 that attends a North Colonie school district public or private school is eligible. Players from outside this school district must contact the league President for consideration.

Latham Lassies is a non-profit organization entirely run by parents who volunteer their time, talent and ideas in a variety of ways that have little to do with softball. Field maintenance, concession stand and equipment management are key positions that go a long way toward running a smooth softball season. There are also a variety of short-term tasks for special events such as Opening Day, Field Day, and Tournaments.
